Rooms were clean. Amenities and food were good. We particularly enjoyed the food at the Japanese Grill and the Steakhouse. The only major drawback is the noise in the hotel at night. There is some event that takes place in the hotel lobby every day and it gets very noisy until late in the night.

We stayed at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun for a week. Overall, the location is good, but the resort itself fell short of expectations. There were very few activities offered, and the service didn’t feel like a 5-star experience—more like a 3-star at best. During our stay, even when the resort wasn’t busy, staff often seemed hard to find when we needed assistance. The breakfast and dinner buffets were quite basic and smaller compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at. We visited the Riviera Maya about two years ago, and the food there was noticeably better. Overall, the experience was okay, but not exceptional. I’d rate it 3 out of 5.
