Slower check in. Room was clean and comfortable but smaller. Did like the limited number of rooms on our floor. The bartender service was a little slow, but they tried hard. The food was marginal most of the time. My wife had a very poor experience at the salad bar with an employee who told her she could not be there only to find out she’d been given express permission to be there. Nice beach area, smaller pool. Good boat traffic kept things interesting.

The experience was terrible. First of all, there was some miscommunication between the hotel and Occidental and we ended up getting additional 40% charge when we checked in. The front desk was not helpful at all. Second, the room there was very old and noisy as it was close to the road. Third, the food there was really meh and the evening shows were out-dated. Lastly, we booked a day trip and they promised one price in USD and ended up charging a much higher price in USD due to some “exchange rate” difference. This was a bad experience and I’m not coming back again.
