Loved the location of the hotel and all the places we could walk to nearby. We had difficulty with how noisy the room was, we could hear every pindrop from neighboring rooms. We had a drunken party next door and staff handled it very professionally in the middle of the night, very grateful for that. The room was very bear bones and in dire need of updating. There no amenities available that we are used to from other hotels (in-room coffee, minibar offerings, etc.).

Classic example of “the more you pay, the less you get”, the internet was obscenely expensive, as was parking, the coffee service was inconsistent and lackluster, and the gym was tiny.

Valet was appalling

The hotel itself was not bad by any means, where the problems arose was with the valet service… in years past when staying at this hotel I have self parked my vehicle in the lot and paid a fee. During this stay I was forced to use valet services which were $76 per night without tip. The valet service members were incredibly rude and unwilling to discuss alternatives. Essentially forcing me to use their service and not willing to listen to any requests that I had asked for.
