Almost a home-run

Excellent hotel. We had a suite room and it was great. Only two negatives: although the view from our room was wonderful, the windows were so dirty on the outside that it was hard to see the view. Also, they need more wait staff in the roof-top bar, especially on Saturday or when it has recently rained (to dry off tables).

Hotel is hectic, lots of people busting and bustling at all times. The buffet breakfast was pretty good, but coffee makers were often not working and hot food was under cooked or raw - staff just could not keep up with the volume of demand. Location is in a nice neighborhood with restaurants and shopping. Front desk gave us a suggestion for an authentic Spanish dinner and it was EXCELLENT. It’s close to the Sagrada and a short cab to the beach, but not very central for other attractions.

Do not stay here-you can do better

The most unfriendly staff at the front door. Beds that consisted of only a fitted and flat sheet. Had to call down to ask for a blanket (you would think that’s a basic bed item). Weird bath shower combo tub making it difficult to get in and out of. The building itself is so poorly indicated the taxi driver could barely find it. And so difficult to get taxis to pick you up from it as well. The stupid elevators and the requirement to scan your key card which never worked. And then the lights also wouldn’t stay on despite the card being in. What a terrible representation of this chain. Like get your act together.
