Nice place, located in the city centre, so it’s very easy to access shops and everything you need. It’s surrounded by plenty of food courts. The only downside was that the restaurant food and breakfast were not good enough for me. Other than that, it’s a good place.

This hotel was top of the line. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming. Although I didn’t get to explore for long as I had a flight early the next morning but my friend stayed another night and was pleased with the location, the distance to coffee shops and the short walk to the harbor. The room was amazing and it even came with bathrobes and slippers for the weary traveler. The Legacy Airedale Hotel was one of my new favorite finds and this was a wonderful stay!

When I first arrived, the Legacy Airedale Hotel looked far more premium than I expected, which was a great first impression. Check-in was genuinely friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which I really appreciated. The room itself was very nice, comfortable, and well presented. The location is excellent and made it easy to get around Auckland. Overall, there was pretty much nothing to fault during my stay, and I would definitely stay here again. The only small downside, which is not really the hotel’s fault and is very common elsewhere, was that there were limited gluten-free, celiac-friendly food options. It would be great if staff were a bit more knowledgeable about allergies, and if guests with allergies could find out in advance what food options would be available during their stay.

We arrived early to check in due to a cancelled flight hoping to leave our bags but the lovely lady sorted an upgraded room for us. It was great with a spacious living/ kitchen area. Great central location. 10 minutes walk to the SkyCity airport bus.
