The our room was nice and spacious. We were in the Tower on the 41st floor. Our first room, I didn’t care for the view ( of the alley ), so I was able to change rooms with a view of the boardwalk and the Ferris wheel. I really did appreciate the front desk clerk ( Imani ) for assisting us with no problems with our request. The only thing that was a turn off was the condition of the hotel. The carpets had bleach stains on our floor, our hotel room could definitely use some updated furniture. The night stands are very outdated, the carpets were stained, the table had a huge chunk of wood missing, and the lock on out room door didn’t not lock completely, so it was very important that we put the latch on when we were going to sleep. The bathroom was decent, and the cleaning staff did replenish our room daily with fresh towels, and would make our bed. Aside from the condition of the hotel, our stay was decent. We frequented the Hardrock because they had a restaurant ( with really great food ), and the we found their casino to be really bright, and inviting, so going forward, that is where we will be staying.

Even the non smoking rooms stink of cigarettes. I booked ages ago and the hotel failed to take the deposit as agreedso had a big surprise that the full amount was due. Plug sockets didn't work and pulled the bed out trying to find one. Lots of dirt and used tissue behind the bed. Carpet had not be vacuumed

There was only 1 elevator working which let to LONG delays getting around. I got there at 12:30 and check in was not u til 4. So I paid extra for early check in only to be told my room was not ready? After 2 hours I inquired and was given a comparable room cause it still was not available. I feel I should have been told this before they accepted and charged me for early check in
