Book Armação de Pêra hotels

The Marsuites is a newer hotel in a slightly older town. It's run by a very nice family, and the breakfast was the most delicious of the four hotels we stayed in during our trip through Iberia. Only thing to be aware of is that Armação de Pêra is somewhat sleepy and the town (not the hotel!) could use a fresh coat of paint compared to some of the other beachfront towns in Algarve. There are some good restaurants, and for the big spenders there's a Michelin 2 star restaurant nearby.

Great apartment fantastic views

Overall a good rental. Property management is clear with what is and isn’t included and was available from time of booking until checkout. Nice for a large family with ample bath and bedrooms, pool and basement gameroom. The issue is that this isn’t “ocean view” or “new” as stated in the listing. I would describe the property as a bit tired which is fine, had the listing not said “new”.

The hospitality and services were of the highest quality, the room was very spacious and the breakfast was also very tasty.

This villa is beautiful and well maintained mostly, apart from headboards, they could be doing with replacing and all marks/scratched in most rooms. We were kept updated regularly and checkin process was great. Lovely welcome gifts too which is nice thought.The area is beautiful and the views from roof lovely if you were all adults but we were too frightened to relax with a 3yr old up there so avoided it, that was our issue, not the villas. The only thing I could say as a negative was the roof terrace was not like the picture advertised as no gazebo over it and the chairs were a little dated and metal which got too hot to sit on. The balconies on the picture showed seating outside the room with the stairs to roof which would have been nice but they wasn’t any. I would not have paid for room hot tub to be heated if I would have known this as never used it once. However we had a fab week, pool and hot tub downstairs was beautiful. Be prepared for seagulls pooping everywhere lol Definitely would return Thank you to Olivia for keeping us informed from booking to leaving..

The Algar is central to all the local bars, shops and restaurants. The apartments are basic and would benefit from updating but clean and provide a good base. We always chose a balcony view which allows us to eat and drink as we like if we don’t want to eat out, and certainly makes up for any basic amenities. Staff are always friendly and have been there many years .
