I am incredibly disappointed with my stay at this property! It boasts a rich heritage of quality and promotes experiences centered around “rest and rejuvenation,” but sadly, it fell far short of these promises. The live music, which I Did NOT anticipated, was unexpectedly loud, permeating even my third-floor room. I imagined a peaceful retreat, but instead, I felt as though I was trapped in a bustling pub, where the hotel itself deprived me of the peacefully and quite enjoyment of my room.
When I approached management about the excessive noise, I was met not with understanding, but with sarcasm. I was even told to consider finding another hotel, which left me feeling both frustrated and disheartened. To add insult to injury, we awoke on Sunday to find the power was out, and, as a result, there was no breakfast available—a meal that was included with our booking. When I raised this issue, the hotel refused to credit us for the breakfast we could not enjoy, forcing us to seek alternatives and spend additional money out of pocket. This experience was far from the relaxing getaway I had hoped for and I would no recommend it as a place to stay.
