DO NOT STAY they take our security deposit

We took our grandkids here for the pools. The outside pool was freezing cold. When we arrived, the main pool was closed which was the whole reason we came. Manu people complained and they had it open about 4-5 hours later. They charged us a $50 security deposit and a $20 resort feel. Several weeks later and we still do not have our security deposit back. We tried calling many times and they hang up on us and won't try to even solve the problem.

Awesome Place to stay!

It was amazing. They worked with us when Hotels.com messed up our reservation and refused to fix or let the hotel fix it. After 1.5 hours on the phone back and forth with hotels.com saying that they would help and change it since it was their fault they than decided that they would not. the hotel luckily had 1 room left and we got it for the price we would have through hotel.com. They were kind not rude or judgmental, they were really trying to make it work

On first glance, the room looked clean. But a bit after checking in I found a long piece of black hair in the drain of the tub. I’m not sure if it was just forgotten after it was cleaned or if it wasn’t cleaned at all. I didn’t complain about this and decided to stay in the room. The hot tub was also very gross! The second night of our stay, at around 11 pm at night, there was loud yelling from the door from next door. We could clearly hear that the person was cussing someone out loudly. Someone from the hotel was called and told this person that if there is one more complaint about them, then they will have to leave. The next day, my family including my yheee year old twins, were leaving for the day. My twins ran to the elevator in excitement. The guy next door came out of his room and called my yheee olds the f*** word. I reported him to the hotel as this was the same guy who was cussing the night before. I was expecting the hotel to tell this person to leave the hotel. After we came back from our activities, I checked with the front desk and they told me that they are giving the person another chance and I should just let them know if someone happens. I felt that it was unacceptable that this hotel would allow a person who talks nasty to little toddlers, stay here! I feel this hotel is unsafe for families and I would never stay here again! The hotel did move my family to another building after I expressed how upset I was.

The property was laid out weird, dirty and very outdated. No breakfast on site, no coffee cups in rooms, service people hard to understand, carpets tore and dirty. The water park was nice but crowded which is expected at times. But wont return if in area.

⸻ Disappointing Return – This Place Has Gone Downhill I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and had a decent experience, so I was genuinely shocked and disappointed to see how far it’s fallen since then. The pool was filthy — not just a little dirty, but murky with a ring of grime around the top like something out of a bad dream. The upstairs pool especially felt eerie and neglected, almost spooky. Everything metal in the pool area was rusted, which felt unsafe and gross. Our room’s A/C wasn’t working when we arrived, and when maintenance finally showed up, the man had an awful attitude like we were inconveniencing him. Not what you expect when you’re paying to stay somewhere comfortable. The elevator reeked so badly it made every ride nauseating, and somehow, there were no blankets on the beds — just sheets. Who does that? This place feels neglected, like nobody cares anymore. It’s really sad to see it like this, because it used to be a solid stay. I won’t be coming back unless some serious improvements are made.

If you can give negative reviews, this place would get it. The photos are nothing like the actual rooms, the whole facility smells horrible, Like marijuana. Pools were closed. Rooms were outdated, poorly cleaned and maintained. Called for over 20 min along with waited for over 20 min for someone and there was no answer from anyone from the front desk. When someone finally appeared it seems as if they had just woke up. Will NEVER stay there again. Absolutely horrible

Front desk staff is pleasant however our first room was unclean (definitely not vacuumed and long hair found in numerous areas of the bathroom). Then to top it off the door into the hotel room DID NOT LOCK. They did upgrade us to a different room when no other rooms like ours were available. That was nice and the 2nd room was at least clean and the door locked. We went to the pool and some idiot guest brought in a glass bottle that she dropped right between the pools. Glass flew 20’ out. We alerted the front desk and they sent staff to clean it up. These men did not speak English and just swept up what they could. We told them it was most likely in the pool but they left anyways. Subsequent SIX kids came out of the pool with glass in their foot or bleeding … and they still didn’t close the pools!!! Never again will I stay here. It is unclean and definitely unsafe!!
