The nation's capital, Washington, can be found approximately 3,900 kilometres to the east of Winters.

Craving a day out in nature? Get in the car and head out to Fort Sutter State Historical Park, 45 kilometres from Winters. Alternatively, take a breath of fresh air at Leland Stanford Mansion State Historic Park, 40 kilometres away.

Why watch baseball on the telly when you can experience it in real life at Raley Field? Located 40 kilometres away in Sacramento, this fantastic facility is the home of the Sacramento River Cats. There's even more to see and do just down the road. Vacaville, 19 kilometres to the south, is popular for Vacaville Premium Outlets and the Paradise Valley Golf Course.
