We had to park on the street because there are not enough stalls for the number of occupants. But that really wasn’t a big deal. Our second night, the thermostat went crazy and even off, it was 31 degrees Celsius in our room at 3:30 in the morning. Of course we couldn’t call to get anyone to fix it. Even with the AC on, the door open and two available windows open it was 25 degrees by 10 am. We had practically no sleep. When I told the front desk, they just said a quick sorry and that maintenance would check. But did not do anything to rectify the situation for us. We will stay somewhere else next time. The room wasn’t even clean when we got there. There was literally candy on the floor beside the bed.

Season was coming to an end so not great service. Room carpet was filthy, sink leaked out onto the floor, they gave me a bucket to put under the sink & said maintenance would be sent out but for two days they never showed up. There was no shower curtain.

Two major problems 1-Did not have a business centre which was needed to print an airline boarding pass. I have never stayed at a hotel which did not have at least a computer and printer. 2-Terrible TV channel choices- no Sportsnet, no TSN, no CNN, etc. Again unlike any other hotel I have stayed at.

Parking was good, but the moment you enter the building there’s a strong smell of urine and animal feces, which is very unpleasant. The staff, especially Jordan, was not accommodating or friendly. When I went to my room, I couldn’t get the door open, so I had to go back to the reception for help. Instead of assisting politely, Jordan was grumpy and unhelpful, making the experience even more frustrating.

The property had a bunch of little houses which had rooms in them. The POOL IS NOT OPEN. Which was a huge let down cause we had two children that were looking forward to it. Call this location before you book if a pool is important to you. They said parks Canada hasn't approved there pool yet. The rooms them self are older and some of the brick patios are falling apart which is a huge tripping hazard. Some of them are loose as well, watch your step. Location is great close walking distance to downtown.
