It was a cool property. The staff was nice, especially the supervisors very personable and friendly. Our little shy puppy (old man) was complimented which is always a plus. There was a cool little cocktail gathering, we missed, but it was a cute little social. It was quiet if you needed it to be, but also could be fun.

Great hotel great price. We wanted to stay near everything within a budget. Don’t expect the rooms or bathroom to be very big. But if you’re not there to stay in the room then you’ll be fine like we were. We even went with our baby and a play pen fit in between the two beds. Fridge was big enough for us to store baby things. Closet was spacious enough. They even brought us up our own microwave when we asked if there was one we could use in the lobby just to warm up baby food. Beautiful lobby, restaurant and the employees were always very kind, welcoming, social, and helpful. As far as what’s around, the White House is about a 20 minute walk. From there the Smithsonian area is another 25 minutes. It was really nice out so we enjoyed the walk. If you don’t want to walk, driving is about 10-15 minutes. Many restaurants, stores, nearby. Although valet was great, our only complaint is parking. $60 per night for guests is pricey. Not saying it has to be free, but it can definitely be a bit cheaper. If valet is cheaper next time, we definitely will be staying again. If not, we will probably find another hotel with cheaper parking.

I was impressed with every detail of our stay. I was traveling solo with my three children, and we were put in a room facing a very busy street. It was so quiet that except for an occasional siren, we heard nothing! We all slept comfortably and the staff was extremely kind and attentive. We will come back!

Good hotel for the price

Stayed here with my daughter and granddaughter for several nights. The hotel was very nice and the dinner at the restaurant was absolutely outstanding, every bite. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The only downside was the size of the rooms. They were extremely small and the bathroom was tiny, I initially thought it was a closet until I turned on the light. Really only room for one person at a time but the room slept 4.
