High heels or flip-flops? However you like to roll, you're bound to enjoy a trip to Sebring, 50 kilometres away. With Highlands Ridge Golf Course and the Children's Museum of the Highlands to explore, you're not gonna be bored. If you want to spend a few nights in Sebring, look into the rates at the Residence Inn by Marriott Sebring and La Quinta Inn & Suites Sebring. 60 kilometres to the east of Venus you can also stay at Okeechobee, home to the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lake Okeechobee and Hampton Inn Okeechobee Lake. This regional centre is 70 kilometres west of Venus and has a population of 54,000. Port Charlotte Beach Park and Lake Betty Park are a few more which are sure to offer up some envy-inducing photo ops. Wash off the long-haul hangover with a warm bath at the Courtyard by Marriott Fort Myers I-75/Gulf Coast Town Center. It's within a quick drive of Southwest Florida International Airport (70 kilometres from central Venus), so you'll be feeling back to normal in no time at all!
