Romantic accommodation in Fort Myers River District

Property was very nice. Older hotel but clearly renovated after hurricane. Plenty of options for food and drink. Overall, the prices were fair and we would have enjoyed our stay much more if we’d been able to sleep. My understanding is that there was an emergency repair needed so between 1:00am and 5:00am all we heard was banging and drilling. Then we got out of bed to no water. Front desk literally looked at my husband who went to ask about the water and was ignored. Women looked at him and turned her back while laughing and talking on the phone. It could have been a guest so a little grace is given. However, when we checked out and were asked about our stay I mentioned the noise and lack of sleep. Same women said, we had emergency repair. There was no apology, nothing. While I understand things happen, empathy goes a long way and front desk staff should be trained appropriately to manage these situations. Would I stay again? Yes because otherwise it was nice. Just disappointed in front desk staff.

The phone in the room was completely dead! The TV was pretty bad. It wasn’t hooked up, when it was it was hard to navigate.

Beautiful property right on the beach. We had a balcony facing the beach that was well equipped with two lounge chairs and a table and chairs. The umbrellas and chairs on the beach were complimentary for guests, which we appreciated.

Newly constructed, pristine hotel. I was most worried about the valet but it was super easy. Note they do add resort fees and valet fees at check out. I would stay here again! Pool and beach area are great!!

our room wasnt that clean. the breakfast is a joke.

Everything was excellent and access for the activities we were involved in was perfect.
