There was an evening during my stay where there was a false emergency alarm that continued to go off. We received a letter of apology through the night after they were able to get it under control. It was alarming, but outside of that the stay was great. Staff was accommodating, the facilities felt clean, and the room service and dining options were efficient and delicious. I would definitely choose to stay here again should I visit Tulsa another time.

Comfort & Class at Hyatt Regency Tulsa

Wonderful Stay at Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown I stayed in a King room over the 4th of July weekend and had a great experience. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, making it easy to relax after a busy day. The amenities were a nice touch — everything felt thoughtfully designed and convenient. The location was perfect for enjoying downtown Tulsa festivities. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Lacking customer service

We were awoken from sleep by a fire alarm. My children were terrified and crying. We went all the way to the lobby with other guests on the stairwell before the all clear was given. Once we got settled back into bed, it happened again only this time when the all clear was given, a loud noise was emitted from the alarm for a very long time. It was 11:30pm before the noise finally stopped. At this point my children were afraid to go to sleep so and now never want to be in a hotel again. Nothing was offered. We got an apology letter under the door and no attempt at compensation was made. It was a troublesome experience and a disappointing apology.

The fire alarm went off 3 times in the night. The staff had no idea what was going on and told us to ignore any further fire alarms. The person at the front counter was hung out to dry dealing with a whole building full of scared people. This issue happened over several hours and the general manager was no where in sight. No announcement was made to reassure the people. If it were my company, I would replace upper management for not sending more people to help deal with several hundred panicked people who were woken up from a dead sleep by a fire alarm.

We arrived early and were able to check in which was nice. Parking garage connects next door and we had no problems with the in or out. The shower pressure was one of the best I’ve ever had. Around 11:30 the night of our stay the fire alarm went off. We went down to the lobby where there were of course 100’s of guests trying to figure out what was going on. I only noticed a couple of hotel staff and they were at the desks handling the people leaving. I heard one of them tell someone that it was a false alarm but no explanation of why. We made the decision after waiting awhile to go back to our room and stay since we were 2 hours away from home and it was close to 12:30 by now. Rest of the night was fine. I was hesitant about staying downtown but it was good and convenient for the plans we had.

Great hotel, skip the restaurant food

The service staff at the hotel were great! It was clean and in a good location. The only down side was our experience at the restaurant. The food was so bad. This would be an easy 5 star review without our restaurant experience.
