Loved this hotel and our experience staying there. The double beds were small for doubles so sharing with my teenager was a bit tight which is the only reason I gave 4 rather than 5 stars. Decor was cool and felt very Toronto (both old and new). Location was absolutely amazing. We walked everywhere! Would stay here again for sure.

Good overall

Overall nice hotel, great location and handy connection to the Path. Kitchenette, although useful, was lacking basic utensils. Our room had a view for CN tower and harbour, and it was very quiet even over the weekend.

Fabulous views, clean comfortable room, great value. Bathroom was a little small and a dated compared with the rest of the suite, but fully functional. Appreciated the good size fridge with full freezer section.

I recently stayed at One King West Hotel in Toronto. Overall, the staff were very helpful and communicative, which made my experience smoother—especially since the in-room phone wasn’t working, but I was able to text and easily get in touch with them. The hotel has a great vibe, and the location is fantastic—close to everything and very walkable. The lobby bar is a beautiful space to relax in, and while I didn’t make it to the spa or other facilities, the overall atmosphere felt welcoming. A few things to note: the in-room washer/dryer was a very cool feature and definitely a plus for longer stays. However, the washrooms felt a bit dated, there’s no mini-bar in the room, and the cleanliness could be improved—after walking around in just socks, they were noticeably dirty (slippers recommended!). Room service food wasn’t great either, so I’d suggest checking out the many restaurants nearby instead. It would also be nice if the hotel included a few little touches, like complimentary bottled water or a welcome note in the room upon check-in, to make the stay feel even more personal and inviting. All in all, I’d recommend this hotel for its amazing location, friendly staff, and great vibe—just a few improvements in the rooms, amenities, and little details would really take it to the next level.
