Have stayed in downtown Toronto many times in the last 3 years, including in the Financial District. Found the service here to be below the standard one would expect in a hotel of this calibre - ranged from outright rudeness to indifference. That said, they did correct a double booking error they had made after some discussion. The hallways smelled like someone had spilled soup in them, the rugs were poorly repaired and buckling, and the rooms had a very odd and inefficient layout. Beds were small and uncomfortable. Cafe downstairs was nice, but I would recommend coming over from another hotel. Would not stay here again.

Ideally located center of town and right next to subway station. Also room was very nice including refrigerator, microwave, sink, cooktop, a few pots and pans, plates and utensils.

We were woken up at 4am by a lot of noise in the hallway and it continued for about an hour. Called security and it finally ended. Restless night to say the least. The best the hotel could do for compensation was 20% off. For the price we paid for our room and parking, this was unacceptable. Do better, One King!!! Needless to say, we won't be back.
