We Were given rooms facing the train tracks. The trains run from 5AM to 12 midnight.We asked the hotel to change our rooms to the other side but they refused and instead sent ear plugs to us. They then asked 7000 yen per night for shifting our rooms to the non train tracks side which I refused .

We stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon in the Gate Suite Room on the 13th floor with the private deck and hot tub. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Highly recommend! We absolutely would come back and stay again.

We had fantastic stay in our corner city view room. The room was large with floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the shopping area. The location was perfect, close to everything. The staff were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. We caught the bus from Narita airport and it stopped minutes from hotel. There were only a few areas that could do with attention, one was the Buffet breakfast. The plates on buffet were continuously empty and staff had to be asked to refill. Also there was a choice of 3 cooked breakfast but this never changed the 9 days we were there, it would be great to a rotation of menu. The other area was the club lounge that we had entry too as part of our room rate. They had beer, a sweet champagne and sake. It would have been nice to have a white and red wine on offer as well. Over all I would recommend and stay here again .

I loved everything about The Gate Hotel Tokyo by Hulic. We were within less than 10 minutes walk to all the fancy shops and department store and food halls. Even better, we were surrounded by food alleys where locals meet up after work:) If walking is not your idea of fun, there is a metro entrance and taxi pickup literally outside the entrance door. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Stayed in the canopy king room Room was absolutely gorgeous and spacious Breakfast was limited same a choice of 3 items which you could alternate but the small buffet items was the same everyday which could get boring if staying for longer. Staff was friendly enough and try to help if needed.

Very good location in Ginza. The subway entrance is just outside the hotel. The breakfast is good, with very nice freshly squeezed orange juice, but there isn’t a huge selection. Everything in the hotel is clean and all the staff are very helpful and loan electric socket adapters. The provision of pyjamas in the bedroom is a nice touch. The lobby bar and outdoor terrace is a great place to sit and relax. Unless you are staying in one of the more expensive rooms you don’t get access to the rooftop bar which is odd. Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay.
