The staff were very friendly and helpful in carrying our luggage to rooms. Location is excellent, close to Chinatown, Darling Harbour and tram stops. Bed was very comfortable. The rooms was very small, no and there is no washbasin, shelf or mirror in the bathroom. Instead a washbasin is located in the toilet to clean your teeth. Unfortunately due to renovations, the elevator was out of action, meaning a lot of steps to get up to our room on the second floor.

Great location, clean, and a comfy bed!

The Ultimo was a perfect spot for us as we arrived in Sydney for a few days from the US. The location was in a neighborhood that had restaurants open late and was easily walkable. Mass transit was very easy to access. The room was clean and comfortable. We would easily stay there again.

My room (rm no 202) was next to the staircase on the top level. There was construction work taking place on the stairs, which started at 7 a.m. and woke my family up every morning.
