Rooms( especially bathrooms ) need an upgrade - which I believe is happening this year. Everything was clean and beds were super comfortable. Staff friendly. Decent bar and food options, albeit limited hours. Amazing location and view on pool deck.

Great location right in the Rocks and the staff are friendly but the hotel is dated. The room we had is tired and in need of a major upgrade. Toilet seat broken, bath enamel looks worn with silicone slapped around the edges encouraging mould. The air vent intake for the aircon system is clogged with dust bunnies and the furniture looks like it was picked up from the council throw out. Windows are filthy as well plus thread bare carpets. If you’re cool with that you can’t beat the location but for the price you’re paying they need to do better.

The pool was lovely - came to this hotel 1999 although it has changed hands it was still as good - front desk staff were very good especially as Expedia seemed to have booked 2 rooms for us - so we got a refund on a payment - only made aware to us by the staff as I had an email saying 1 room had been booked.

The room was very spacious and the staff was amazing. The AC in the room was very good too. I had a couple issues though, mainly all of the cockroaches on the rooftop area. There was a huge cruise ship in the harbour which completely blocked the entire view for most of my stay. I don't blame the hotel at all for this but I couldn't enjoy the view from my room at all. So I went to the rooftop to get a better view at night. I saw at least 7 very large cockroaches running around on the rooftop so I couldn't enjoy the view at all from there at night. I woke up early to see the sunrise from my harbour view room once the cruise ship left but the window was so dirty from the outside that I couldn't see clearly. So I had to go outside to enjoy the sunrise. Lastly, the water pressure from both the faucet and the shower head were horrendous. Overall, I was not thrilled with my stay. I paid extra for a harbour view room and never got to enjoy the view. This was the main draw for me to stay at this hotel, otherwise I could have stayed anywhere in Sydney and commuted to the harbour front (and saved a lot of money).

Great location. Roof pool is a great feature. Comfortable room though the bathroom is small and outdated. Air conditioning works but is noisy. The 0630 leaf blower outside on most mornings was very annoying. The breakfast offering is extremely disappointing. The coffee machine produced sweet instant coffee that was truly awful. We were asked to pay extra for an omelette or real coffee.
