Only 14 kilometres away, you'll find plenty of things to check out in Groton. From the United States Coast Guard Academy to the Mystic Seaport - The Museum of America and the Sea, there's something to keep everyone busy.

While there is plenty to do for children, there is also a wide variety of more grown-up activities. When you're ready to get things going, make a break for the Stonington Vineyard. Visits to the Saltwater Farm Vineyard and the Stonington Country Club are also highly recommended.

Sitting 40 kilometres to the east, Narragansett Beach is a charming spot to while away an hour or two chilling out by the water. Oak Street Beach also boasts some gorgeous scenery. You'll find this inviting shoreline 85 kilometres to the east.

Both travellers and locals often make the journey to Westerly. This place is 10 kilometres to the east and not too far from the Granite Theatre, Atlantic Beach Park and Water Wizz of Westerly. If you're planning to stay a while, remember to visit Misquamicut State Beach and Babcock-Smith House.

The nearest terminal is Bradley International Airport (BDL). When you're ready to pack up your bag and hit the skies, head 90 kilometres to the northwest.
