Book Stixwould and Woodhall hotels

Lovely spacious clean rooms. Staff very pleasant and helpful. The first night we had to park on grass because the parking bays were full when we came back late! The next day we managed to get a parking space. Everything else was excellent.

No heating in the bedroom. Staff response poor. Location is excellent. Dinner very good, breakfast average. Bar and restaurant expensive.

The staff were great, the rooms were lovely, and the only thing that let the place down was actually other guests who changed the controls on the toaster, to the degree that the rest of my breakfast went cold while I put my bread through 3 times, and then gave up - resulting in cold breakfast, stewed, cold tea, hard bread instead of toast - apparently it's an ongoing problem, which the staff perhaps need to monitor a bit more closely.

It is a good hotel ideally situated to see the cathedral and walk into the centre of Lincoln. Lovely staff. Lots of restaurants close by. Parking available although you have to pay even though you’re a guest! Recommended

Plenty of parking. You get 15% off Damon’s restaurant if you want to eat there. ( was quite pricey) Staff were helpful and friendly.
