Book South Huron hotels

Front desk is not monitored 24/7 and the only information you receive is from an email through hotels.com that is not clear. I called to get a room code as I never received anything. Given code over the phone. At night when guest arrived on site the code was note working. We tried calling the phone number online and no response. Hotel not willing to offer any refund or even credit. (Phone number for after hours is different than their phone number online - that is not on me to know, they need better systems.)

Beautiful, conveniently located hotel undergoing renovation while we were there. The room was large, airy and bright and the bedding was top notch. Would recommend

Property was pet friendly and easy to take my pet in and out. Staff was very accommodating

Initially, we were swt up in 515. Extremely noisy due to elevator traffic. Moved to 201. Floor had very strong smell from the moment we stepped off of the elevator to our room at the end of the hall. Our room smelled as well. Staff eventually opened the window but then it was too cold in the room, even with the heat on. Staff had to come back up to close the window. During our stay the phone rang twice. Once at 730 pm and the other at 1245 am. Both times the phone just rang once. At 1130 am on the day of checkout housekeeping was kkoxking on our door - despite having confirmed late checkout at 12 pm. While the hotel rooms are beautiful and the on-site restaurant food absolutely delicious!, we would more likely choose anither hotel to stay next time we're in Stratford.

I like the staff commiment to assist the guest. I forgot my apple watch and other items, I called the hotel and the staff was able to assist me in mailing the forgotten items to me. The property was not bad. The things that I didn’t like were the lack of elevator in the building and the towels in the wash room. Over all I had a good time staying at Amber Hotel.
