Lets get the bad stuff out of the way first, bring your own pillow. My neck would like to file a formal complaint Mrs. Marshall. Also, since we booked last minute, we were placed in a beautiful room that unfortunately faced the parking garage. On a Saturday and Super Bowl Sunday, it was basically a live-action sound effects show. Every time I fell asleep, a car alarm went off, waking me in a brief state of panic and giving my heart more cardio than it wanted. That said, I’m certain that if I had complained, the staff would have moved me without hesitation.
Now, on to the good stuff, because this hotel is MAGICAL. I already miss it and cannot wait to go back. The room itself was stunning, historic, and incredibly cozy. The location couldn’t be better; it’s truly in the heart of everything.
And the breakfast, let’s talk about it. Absolutely delicious. Even better? It’s included with your stay. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s better than many of the local breakfast restaurants.
Finally, the service is top-notch. Every single person we encountered was genuinely warm, kind, and attentive. Despite the sleep hiccup, this place completely stole my heart, I can’t wait to return and actually be able to sleep. I can’t wait to return.
And do NOT miss the weekend entertainers, such a fantastic surprise and an absolute treat! An intimate, private concert for the hotel guests.
