Positives first, as it was overall a good stay for what we needed: Staff - honestly interaction was minimal, but in a good way. Check in and check out was friendly and efficient. Location - Perfect for visiting Old Trafford, an easy 5-10min walk. The city centre is walkable along the canal too, about 40-45mins. Parking - For our two nights, we were able to register at reception (via touchscreen) for 48hrs free. This allowed us to check out, watch the afternoon match, and collect the car in the late afternoon for the drive home - although there was a slight queue to leave, which is to be expected. Shower - Not the most aesthetically pleasing bath/shower, but you couldn't fault the performance, just about instant hot water and plenty of pressure every time. Negatives; Sleep hygiene was the big one for me. The curtains didn't sufficiently keep out the street lights, it wasn't bright as such, but definitely noticeable and not healthy at night. Given the busy road outside, we shut the windows and put the fan on, but when we turned off the entrance light for the room, the socket that the fan was plugged into automatically switched off. I'm unsure if we didnt operate the fridge correctly but it didnt seem to be chilled really and there did seem to he a slight smell from it - although visually it looked clean. I recall breakfast seemed a bit expensive. Otherwise, just needs blackout curtains and 3 working plug sockets at night, then I would recommend without question.

Bad experience

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the hygiene standards in Room assigned during our recent stay. Upon arrival, we observed several cleanliness issues, including the presence of 5 moths, for which I have video evidence. Additionally, only one large towel and one small towel were provided for two adults and an infant. We found another one even in the morning in the curtains as we were leaving. We stayed for less than 8 hours and had Medical appointment so unfortunately we just reported to the reception and left. These unsanitary conditions significantly impacted my family's experience, and I believe they are directly linked to a skin reaction developed by my baby. I have already brought these matters to the attention of the reception staff and am prepared to provide the video recording as substantiation. Arrived very late due to flight delays . I mentioned on my booking comments and during the online check-in that I will be arriving after midnight. Luckily I did the online check-in because otheii would be no show. Room needs upgrading. Bed ok Bathroom very 80's Expensive breakfast Not sure will come back

View from the hotel room was very nice , room itself was a good size and a big bed decor was very dated phone was from the early 1990’s whole room and bathroom could do with a renovation broken tiles in the bathroom hot tap for the bath was not working had to fill the bath using the out dated shower unit , only had half a toilet roll for my 2 night stay and no replacement, bed linen and towels did not smell freshly washed and actually smelt like someone else had used them before , the breakfast buffet was very nice and a wide variety staff were very friendly and check in was quick and easy on a whole the room was nice and quiet Would I stay there again probably not but I didn’t dislike my stay there and served its purpose as was out watching the test match all day it , it was easily accessible by car and had good parking and walking distance to old Trafford cricket ground and good facilities around the hotel
