The room was clean and the linens were fresh but the bathroom shower head was for someone short. The staff were very accommodating and nice. The parking is a little inconvenient but the location is downtown a very walkable.

I’m not sure about the other hotel option in St John, but this place is just “fine”. It feels a little run down. Parking and check in are a little convoluted (in my opinion) since the hotel is connected to a mall. The location is great and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

This hotel has all kinds of rooms so be sure to talk about the kind of room they're assigning youtube before you agree to it. I will tell you that the people who work at the front dest work really really hard to make sure that you are enjoying your stay. Don't be afraid to speak up if you have a problem. Same goes for the restaurant with a bartender and the matriday, we're absolutely fabulous

The bed at this hotel was the most comfortable I’ve had at any hotel for a long time. My room was large, comfortable and clean and I had no complaints. The hotel is very clean, very spacious, has lots of amenities and is in a great location next to the harbor. The parking arrangement in the adjoining multi storey parking lot is very easy and convenient, but cost $18.95 + tax daily, which is pricey. I guess that’s typical though for a city area where buildings don’t have their own parking lot spaces, so I’m OK with that. The breakfast was included in my room, but if it hadn’t been, I would never have eaten breakfast there at $19 + tax, especially since I’m vegan and they didn’t even have any plant based butter for toast, or any vegan items on the menu. The hotel elevator requires you to use your room key to access any floor, so although that’s a bit of a pain to keep scanning your key every time you use the elevator, it does convey a small sense of security that no one can use the elevator unless they are staying there. One thing I found a little annoying was that when I checked in, they gave me a password for the secured internet access, but when I got to my room and logged on, I discovered that their wifi internet was actually open, with no password. I tried several times, but there was definitely no secured connection there, so I had to use an open, unsecured connection, which I wasn't happy about. If I visit St John in the future, I will most likely stay here again.
