A really nice hotel in close proximity to excellent eating options

Large well kept property with traditional decor - pretty palatial, actually. Rooms are very well priced, considering generous size and luxury furnishings. Crisp and very clean. My pet peeve with hotel rooms- must have good Nespresso machine and real milk/cream, not horrible powder. Check - this hotel has both. Beautiful setting on a lake, with lots of outdoor seating. Lots of bikes, kayaks etc. would be a great place for a special event/wedding. 5 stars.

The room was nice. The bed was super comfy and made for a great night sleep. The drain in the shower was plugged meaning water was draining very slowly. There was some wear and tear on the room, and could use a little work. But for a place to sleep it was perfect. It’s in a quiet area. Not much around the hotel it’s self but the town down the road has a few options for dining, groceries, etc. the scenery going to and from the hotel was beautiful. If you are trying to get to Montreal via Uber it will be difficult and you more than likely end up taking the more expensive taxi. Overall I would stay here again, if I didn’t plan to go to Montreal every day.
