Breakfast menu was sparse.

The tub the paint was peeling. The people working were working hard and trying to get things done quickly. Their handyman seemed to be trying to make everything perfect, but it more looks like the owners need to invest money into the property. It just looked old and outdated outside the beds.

The a/c was good.

5 Star service was great.

The doors exiting the motel were dirty. She shower wall had a hole in it. Paint was chipped off the walls. The breakfast was sparce, not much variety. At other Microtel’s we have stayed at they had yogurt, fruit, etc, The staff were helpful, they just didn’t seem too friendly.

Don't let the pictures fool you--this place is a dump. The laminate in the hallways is buckled and the whole atrium (pool area) was closed due to standing water. The first room we got stunk badly. The second room had filthy sheets and we had to take them off and bring them to the front desk to have them changed. The room itself was ok enough except for some staining on the walls. This was probably a nice hotel in its day but its day is past. The breakfast was a row of tables with a few things set out in the corner of the bar that looks like it has been closed for a while. This could have been a temporary setup due to the closed and musty atrium. We asked for an extra blanket and they said they didn't have any. The positives were that the staff was friendly enough and we didn't see any bedbugs!
