Sol Ipanema is a fantastic place to stay! The staff and the property exceeded all my expectations — everything from service to comfort was outstanding. My only issue was with Expedia, not the hotel itself. I needed to change my reservation dates, and while the hotel’s reservation team was incredibly kind and approved the change, Expedia failed to update the dates properly with the hotel. Despite this hiccup, my experience at Sol Ipanema was excellent, and I’d definitely return!

Sol Ipanema was amazing and convenient to a myriad of Rios best offerings. Its surrounded by Ipanema beach, ample restaurants, Favela Vidigal. Minutes away from Copacabana. The staff was incredible. They were friendly and accomodating.

This is a wonderful hotel directly across the street from Ipanema Beach! The delicious restaurant on the second floor and many of the guest rooms overlook the beach. The experience was idyllic!

I think this property is amazing. They are friendly, clean, high quality etc. that being said I didn’t like that the prices for the products supplied. 2/27 - 3/5 Carnival magic at its best! Perfectly located behind the lively gay beach, we were surrounded by fantastic restaurants and shops. The morning-after breakfast buffet was simply divine! Our room was a quiet haven, and the staff kept it spotless. Can't wait to return—10/10 recommend!

Located in the best location of the best beach area in Rio. Breakfast very good . Beautiful breakfast room overlooking ocean. Pool and lounge area on 15th floor offers a luxurious view! Rooms are good size and well laid out . Bed is king size and very comfortable . Very clean and stylish hotel. Attentive staff. A true 4 star hotel.
