Book Purbeck District hotels

We booked two rooms while walking the coast path. Neither room had a working shower. Both produced boiling hot water that would burn.All we were offered was the use of another shower in an outside building. We declined. Tired building and the Manager uninterested in offering any support or refund. He just told us the rooms were due to be updated! My advice..Go somewhere else.

Great food and a clean and comfortable room. Would stay again!

I organised a large family gathering at this hotel to celebrate finishing south West coast path. The breakfast and dinner every night was fantastic served by a brilliant team. The location is great and in a beautiful area , used the heated outdoor pool several times. Lots of nice areas outside and in to relax . Hotel rooms need updating but overall this didn’t affect our stay . Great value and recommend.

You can have a good night here. But the problem what I had, when I was here - internet. It's not so nice as it can be, but probably it's because house in the "cauldron" with hills; More for people who just want to rest in quiet place and feelings calm. You can have a breakfast dependence of what do you like. You will be have a chat with lovely owner of this place, who told you his history and history of this place. Very near with "Durdle Door" arch. If you search for hotel where you would like to be like home - it's a right place. Cheap, calm and clean place.

A clean quiet hotel in a good location about 15 minutes walk along the promenade from the centre of Swanage. Staff are very helpful. Serves breakfast and dinner and has a spa in the basement and pleasant beer garden right above the beach. The parking is very limited and the only other downside is that the bed is one of the least comfortable (/older?) that I have slept in.

Lovely Sea View Double Room with Balcony. Beautiful views. Breakfast was good and all of the Staff were very polite and helpful. Would recommend if you want a quiet break.
