Comfortable, very convenient - something you'd expect from Riu, even in Dominicana which by itself is not a top tier resort destination. Good food options, convenient beach, nice property in general. Highly recommended, excellent balance between moderate price and real good quality. The negative is not related to the hotel yet should be mentioned: parasailing, provided by some third party and not promoted by the hotel, is a rip-off. For $120 they lift you, leave you hanging there for like 3 min, slightly moving so you don't descend, then stop and board next customers while you are still up there (!), and then that's it - you go down and it's over. You actually fly only on your way up and down, and as the wind blows from the ocean, it turns you with your back to the shore, so you always face water and never see that promised beautiful view behind you - and they never make any effort to turn you around. It wasn't just us, after our experience we started paying attention at how it looked with the others, and it was exactly the same with everyone else. Don't waste your money with this "entertainment".

The entire staff goes above and beyond to ensure your happiness and comfort. They are incredibly helpful and, by the end of your stay, they feel more like friends—leaving you with the promise to return. I love the beach, especially the palm trees that offer the perfect shade and a sense of peace. And of course, the beach itself is simply beautiful. Most importantly, I feel safe and secure within the property, which truly matters.

So many things that took place opon me even checking in me and my friend had a hassle once I got there it was 2hrs for me to check in the room smelled like mildew like toilet was horrible the bathroom in general most of the staff were rude other than the I made the best out of my experience

We had a great time overall! We were welcomed by quite an awful musty smell in our rooms, floor 3 2070 and 2072:,that should be addressed! The shower needs updating, parts of it old. One dinner we sat at Steak House and there was trash on the beach by our table.
