We chose this resort because it advertised gourmet food and great activities for kids under 12 and daily group slime. Unfortunately, we found the following issues:
1) The group slime was not as advertised. Instead of a large amount of slime being released from a container above the waterpark, they had us line up and they popped balloons full of slime over our heads. This was a HUGE disappointment for our kids and was one of several things that were "not working".
2) The food was a massive disappointment. Compared to other resorts, I would not call the food gourmet at all. We were often lucky to get a plate or glass or bowl as they were always out of dishes at the buffet. Also, it was next to impossible to get a reservation at the restaurants. My husband and I would have to go on the app at 8:55 and count down the minutes to both try and click on the restaurant and time we wanted to dine. When we went to the Space restaurant, the VR experience wasn't working and they didn't have the chocolate dome dessert that was previously advertised...which was the only reason we chose that restaurant.
3) There was no hot water
4) The staff were generally friendly but, at the beach, we found that the staff often ignored us when we went to order drinks
5) The activities were geared towards kids 0-5 so my kids (8 and 10) found it all pretty boring
6) The waves were fun but not good for little kids
The rooms were nice and the resort was pretty well maintained
