I was moved to two different rooms from how dirty they were! Including a live Lizard in the bedroom. Service was very poorly done and any requests we made were never received or acknowledged from there service staff, we were in the resort for 4 nights and we never had a sheet changed or any service done!! It was very sad that we traveled to another country just to receive such horrible service!!!! Never visiting this place again!!!! Or will recommend it to anyone !!!!!

Let me say that this review space is not enough for me to paint a clear picture of our stay here. TLDR; stay somewhere else if you expect a 5 star resort as advertised. The sun, sand, sky, and sea are beautiful here, a d the wild life is pretty cool. We had one server that was amazing, but the good stops there. The room was neglected: AC wasn’t working, reported it three times nothing was done, the toilet seat was broken, the shower would start running any time our neighbors were showering. There was mold on the sofa. Only a singular sheet to sleep with. The sinks in the bathroom smelled like sewage. The pools were beautiful, at first. But the water was cloudy, lots of debris and trash in the water, and the water actually ruins our bathing suits - they were stained green. As a matter of fact, I have very light skin and my skin was tinged green also. The food was awful. Like really really awful. There were tons of food safety violations: cold food was hot, hot food wasn’t hot, workers would touch their phones with gloves hands on and then touched the food with the gloves. The staff was so rude, and hardly any of them spoke English, which is fine, as I speak a little Spanish and why should they have to speak any other language than Spanish. However, every single person from the receptionist to the bellman to the bartenders were absolutely awful. We only had one server who was nice and we kept going back to his section every day. Spare yourself this place

Room had not pillow and blankets for the 3rd person. Very damp. Bed sheets felt humid and towels wouldn't dry. Musty smell in the room. 2 people out of 3 were sick on the third day. Ground, beach and ocean were very nice and staff are very helpful and polite.

Resort was beautiful and there were a lot of restaurants but our room had no hot water in the shower and we asked 4 times for it to be fixed annd it never was. the food was just ok. The breakfast buffet and hibachi were the best meals. The entertainment staff was kind of lack luster, some of them looked like they didn’t wanted to be there at all.

What a honeymoon! We loved the Grand Bavaro Princess, it was clean, with beautiful gardens, a great beach and wonderful pools. The food was incredible, especially in the resorts 9 à la carte restaurants. The only thing that was better than the food was the staff in the resort who were kind, polite and very entertaining. We upgraded to platinum which I think is a must for anyone looking for a quieter, romantic getaway. The standard access to the resort would be ideal for families. Looking forward to going again next year!

My room was dirty 0322 the bathroom cealing was broken full of water I was change to another room the waiting time was 3 hours to get a worse room, on top the food was horrible I got food poisoning I have evidence of all the problems we experienced this was my anniversary worse experience, on top I was missing items at this hotel.
