If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. Let me start off by saying, I have stayed at the majority of the resorts in Punta Cana so please trust what I am telling you. I went during the week of New Years. 1) arrived and checked into room. No sheets on bed. Took almost 4 hours to get sheets. Only two towels in room. Told us they were short on towels. 2) Don't be fooled by buffet pictures. They were serving old food. I promise you: a cook took old pizza that someone who I saw put on a scrap plate and put it on another pizza pan for someone else to eat. 3) there were ROACHES coming OUT OF THE KITCHEN!!! ONE ROACH CAME OUT AND TRIED TO RUN BACK INSIDE THE KITCHEN. THE COOK WAS TRYING TO STEP ON IT. 4) Our stomach had so much gas that we could not sleep. 5) the food is half cooked. So many people complained about the bacon. 6) flies on the food. 7) entertainment was horrible. Need to walk to the beach, which is a distance from the hotels. There vehicles were braking down. 8) limited seating by the pool. AGAIN NO TOWELS. 9) one guest came shouting to front desk saying someone walked in on him while he was making love to his wife and robbed him. 10) drinks were watered down. Poor sanitation!!!!

This is one of the worst places I stayed and I’ve visited a lot of resorts in Punta Cana. The customer service is horrible. The food is not good, The nightclub is right outside the resort and they do not pick you up , you will have to walk back at 2am in the morning. They had us park our car under a tree and once we checked out and went to get our car was full of bird droppings. I will not return to this resort .

I recently stayed at the Grand Bavaro Princess, and unfortunately, it was one of my most disappointing resort experiences in Punta Cana. I’ve visited the area multiple times and stayed at several other resorts, but I’ve never encountered issues like this before. From the moment I checked into my first room (room 9411 on January 2nd), there was a severe mosquito problem. I was bitten multiple times each night, and despite requesting help, the only initial solution offered was to spray the room. This did not resolve the issue, and I continued to deal with mosquitoes even after they finally moved me to another room a couple of days later. The new room was slightly better, but the problem persisted. In addition to the mosquito issue, the food at all the resort’s restaurants was honestly terrible. There was a lack of quality and variety, and I found myself unable to enjoy any of the meals. There was also minimal entertainment or activities to make up for the discomfort I was dealing with. When I spoke to the front desk and the supervisor about these issues, the only advice they gave me was to email my experience. There was no offer of compensation or genuine attempt to resolve the situation beyond moving rooms, which did not fix the core problem. Ultimately, I felt dismissed and left to deal with the inconvenience on my own. In summary, I would not recommend staying at this resort. The combination of poor food quality, a serious mosquito problem, and unhelpful customer service

The staff was excellent, always happy and ready to help the guests wherever we were. Very reasonable price which included all meals. The rooms were spacious and lovely. The transportation around the entire area was always available allowing us to jump off and on whether going to the beach or any other locations. Entertainment with singer and musician was very appreciated. The lights and water around the beautiful main pavillion were spectacular.

Overall the stay was okay. We appreciated the upgrades provided to us. The room was nice, just high moisture - we could smell of mould in the room. The staff were friendly and the beach was gorgeous.

Breakfast staff were fabulous, as was the “Quiet Pool” bartender. Despite serving huge numbers the table staff were awesome. Overall all the staff were great other than one host at the steakhouse that was a bit of twit. Food is not fine dining, but no All Inclusive is. Better than the more expensive AI I was at when we moved to Bayahíbe. (Some of the a la cartes missed the mark, but super easy reservations and no restrictions on # of days etc. Steakhouse was great. Rooms were great. Really only complaint was the wifi in the room was problematic. In restaurants etc no problems. Kids area was fabulous. Large property but trolly was fast/prompt. I had made a location request at booking given some medical issues I have and the management had given me a room that I wasn’t excited about on check-in. However quickly learned that they were absolutely right and it was the perfect room for me. Thank you for that! I’d definitely come back.

We’ve stayed here multiple times and always had a great experience overall. The resort is fun, convenient, and great for families. On our most recent stay, I did notice more smoking around common areas than in previous visits, which was a little tough while traveling with a child. I also wanted to suggest considering designated family-only areas or improved soundproofing between rooms. There were moments where noise from neighboring rooms felt less family-appropriate, and having quieter family sections could really enhance the experience for parents traveling with kids. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay and appreciate the amenities—this is just feedback to help make an already great place even better for families.
