Check in was easy, lobby was nice. They have one huge pool could use some cleaning during the day. The resort needs more umbrellas as all the loungers with umbrellas get reserved by 6am. Drinks were average like all resorts. Room was spacious, updated, clean. Cleaning lady did a decent job, water was restocked every day. Room was freezing you can not control room temperature yourself. TV channels were mostly Spanish. Restaurants were not good 3 star at best, they were nice but the food just didnt taste good I went to all 4 on the property wasnt impressed with any of them. Limbo was the best one but still not great. The Palmyra buffet was better then all the restaurants. Fresh salmon, shrimp, steak, pasta station breakfast buffet was also good. Resort is one of 7 resorts we walked every day which I loved. Sports bar was decent. Coffee shop was okay. The entertainment staff was great they kept you entertained all day through the night! Games, pool parties, karaoke, live music, musicians it was very good! Music was awesome variety of music was fantastic. No complaints about entertainment staff at all they were all great! I have been to 3 of the Bahia Principe Resorts if I return Luxury Amber will be the only one I will go to the rooms are way better than the other sister resorts. Kudos again to entertainment staff for making the week great!

Ambar at Bahia Príncipe is a great place to spend a vacation. The rooms are great. The restaurant choices are plentiful. The drinks flow.

The MEAT restaurant was subpar. I asked for a well done steak. It came medium well. Then when they brought it back it was burned all over. I didnt eat it. At checkout, I had to pay for the steak I didn't eat.

Our dining room servers “nónó” and Romone were great with us at every meal. I had a wonderful time. check in and check out was a breeze. getting around the property was easy as well we had shuttles “they call them trains” you can book your excursion through the hotel. They treated us great. There is a language barrier if you don’t speak Spanish but most of the staff speaks English.

Room, staff, dining options and amenities were near perfect. Definitely disliked the hard sales tactics of the Bahia timeshare sales people hovering in and around the lobby. I paid quite a bit for a relaxing vacation not a hard sales pitch. It got to a point where my wife and I walked the long way to the beach and pool to avoid it. Everybody's got to make a buck. But come on.

The staff was wonderful. Ramon at the buffet, Eduin at the pool bar, Ramon at the pool, the entertainers and many others all went above and beyond to make our trip special. I highly recommend this all inclusive resort.

Liked general layout, multiple resort areas each with different dining, bars, pools, etc. Clean and safe. Evening restaurant options were very good. Staff was mostly fine, some were really good and friendly, a couple were uninterested. Disliked, density of people lounge chairs, etc on the beach was very high. Buffet for breakfast and lunch were so-so, being approached regularly by someone asking if I am interested in the spa or their privileged membership program was tiring.
