The beach and pool on the ocean were fantastic! The service by all staff was excellent, especially our server, Julian at the pool. There are no balconies on the second and third floors of the main guest room building but you might be able to be upgraded (for a fee) to the ocean side building. Breakfast at the one buffet restaurant was quite good and has an omelette station. The a la carte restaurant was good and the burgers and pizza by the pool were decent. We went downtown for dinner. It was a short bus ride ($10 pesos) to downtown, which is nice. The guest rooms are getting a little tired and could use a renovation but overall, a good budget hotel.

Hola me parecio un lugar muy agradable la pasamos muy bien el lugar es limpio y siempre estan atentos en servicio al cliente el staf muy amable y agradables los restaurants con algunas opciones muy ricas casi todas cambian todos los dias las picinas super bien y las bebidas bien solo un detalle me hizo falta un par de sillas para la habitacion y la caja fuerte perdieron la combinacion y no pude hacer uso del servicio solo eso.

Las habitaciones son muy viejas, tiene problemas en la regadera que salpica agua por todos lados, LAS HABITACIONES NO TIENEN WI-FI, solamente hay internet en áreas comunes. La comida es buena, las albercas también pero la habitación y el servicio de internet son malos. Honestamente no regresaríamos a ese hotel.

Cons: food was never hot only passably warm. The fish always seemed uncooked. a little bland. Neutral points/Things to consider: no direct beach access but very easy to access with a 1 min walk, no gym, wifi doesnt reach all rooms Pros: staff were great, afternoon oven fire pizza was perfect. my friend was vegetarian and he had lots of options for food. everything else about the facility was good.

Stealing

I’ve stayed there 4 nights in January, after housekeeper came to clean my room he/she stole $100 from my purse. I did report this to the reception but nothing was done. Absolutely nothing. They said they “didn’t find $100”. It was very unexpected and disappointing because I was there for my birthday and did plan to spend cash that I had with me. Be very careful if you’re going to stay there put everything valuable in a seyf. They didn’t even say sorry to me. Also overcharged on a shuttle service do not order it through them! I’m very disappointed about the fact that they steal

They originally checked us into a room with 2 double beds. The next morning I went to the front desk as we had booked a one bedroom suite Victor moved us to an ocean view suite which was lovely He also gave us extended checkout and some wine and upgraded our all inclusive meal plan. Victor was wonderful. So our stay ended being very very nice.

Some rooms are two stars we moved rooms twice - service excellent- building needs improvements- constant badgering outside hotel by beach vendors security could help minimize the constant harassment of guests trying to relax on the beach- beach bathrooms only two toilet seats for women- simple improvement needed there- food at buffet good- restaurant good but only one available not two as advertised- AC very mildewy in some rooms and loud not working properly- some rooms have no lamp shade or safes available- staff try to make up for the poor building conditions with awesome service- could be a good three star option with some simple upgrades and improvements - many room keys not working properly which was a co start headache having to get keys reset multiple times a day

It was such poor conditions that I had to cut my trip short and paid for an additional flight to get home. The roof, rooms, and common area (Chill Out Garden) have mold. The chairs in the rooms were old, dirty, and unsupportive. Stray cats were in the dining area. Toilet in the room was clogged and overflowing. I had to use the restrooms by the front desk. The staff members were rude and i felt like i was a bother. I asked for a spoon and it was dropped on the table. Many of the front desk interactions felt like that. It took a while to speak with anyone at the front desk due to a single line and one person manning the desk while there were 3 staff members behind the desk. Throughout my stay I had to ask basic questions like where is the buffet, how do I get to my room, what's the wifi information, etc. There was no elevator to this establishment. I took my bags up to the second floor by myself. I was feeling sick and coughing just like the majority of guests and staff. I knew it was unhealthy to stay there. The property should be knocked down and rebuilt. I don't recommend anyone to stay there.

When we arrived to the club we were told they did not have a room available for us. They accommodated us at the Grand which was a 10min walk with all our luggage on busy streets and unpaved walkways. When we got to the grand they provided us with a suite on the 1st floor. When we walked in, the smell of mold was so potent we couldn’t stay as my throat instantly got sore and started coughing uncontrollably so we called and they accommodated us to another floor. Upon checkout the front staff were so rude and told us all these concerns should have been brought to her (the managers) attention.. great maybe let your own staff know to bring all concerns to the manager .. not your paying guests. Beach chairs are limited and people reserve them far in advance Overall poor communication and unorganized terrible service
