It's an old hotel and I love it, mainly because of the great staff. The porters, such as Martin and Tomas, are there to greet you upon arrival and help you with your bags. The waiters in the restaurants, such as Aristeo, Chris, Miquel, Alfredo and too many other to mention, are so very helpful. And then there's David, bartender extraordinaire.
The hotel location is terrific and I return each year. There are some nice touches, such as the Spanish coffee station that is set up each day from 5-6 p.m. Yum!
Once note, though, is that there were a couple of new women at Reception when we arrived, who were unaccommodating and abrupt. All of the others, who've been there for years, have great customer service skills, which I hope will get passed onto the new staff members at Reception.
