Book Oaks Port Adelaide accommodation from AU$125

Parking was easy on a weekend. Jethro and Aurora were friendly and welcoming although Aurora thought my room was a quiet one. I was disappointed with my room. It was not overlooking the river as I expected and was noisy with hoon traffic, 4 ambulances in 2 night stay, barking dog, and thuds from the room next door.

Breakfast buffet items ran out and what was there had gone cold. Rather uninspiring fruit on offer and was rather hard and under ripe. There was no decaf coffee in dining room or bedroom. Bedroom was good size and beds comfortable but room lighting inadequate. The only decent light was the bathroom.

The cleaner kept taking my soap when it had only been used for one night which is wasteful but then foegot to replace it. I tried to use the phone to call and ask for a replacement but it didn't work, so I had to go down to reception with three staff who could see I was waiting but left me for several minutes. Bad customer service equals no repeat visits and I thought it was expensivw for the age of the property

Breakfast was good. Parking was very easy. All in all a great stay.
