Pioneertown Hotels with Parking

No hot shower! This is NOT a romantic getaway vacation! When I informed the desk attendant that I didn't have a hot shower in the morning, she said she would have someone adjust it. I told here that I wasn't staying another day and asked if they would discount my stay. She said that the showers are fed by the same spring as the pools, indicating that they had no control over the temperature; even though she had just told me that they could adjust it. She made it clear that she really didn't care about my experience (or that management doesn't and that she has no power in such matters). Her attitude was that she just wanted me to go away. Didn't even respond when I said "Take care". The property is marketed as a luxury hotel with mineral bath pools. What you get is a Motel 6 with pools of different sizes and temperatures. You'll find children and teens splashing each other. It's not a relaxing environment; even in the evening/night when one could reasonable expect things to calm down. At the bar, one of the patrons was watching shorts on his phone with the audio on for all to see and the bartender didn't say a word. Perhaps this is what we should expect in our modern world where nobody has consideration for anyone else anymore. Or perhaps we just need to pay more for a decent experience. As the old saying goes: "You get what you pay for."

Functional for my purposes

It was a clean room, and clean hotel in general. The staff at the lobby was very friendly. If I had the chance to enjoy their outdoor fire pit some more, I would 100% enjoy some of my night time there.

Great place - we stayed there because we saw a show at Pappy and Harriet’s. The room was as clean as it could possibly be in the middle of the desert. Loved the cabin style rooms, the surroundings and, Pappy and Harriet’s, of course

The customer service was excellent. They had activities and games for the kids. The rooms had everything we needed in it. I like having the whole complete kitchen.It was like standing a little to bedroom apartment.It was very nice.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay. Only thing that can be improved is to have an ice maker that worked better.
