The staff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We enjoyed laying at the pool and having access to food and drinks nearby. Pickleball was fun. We also loved sitting in the evening near the firepit tables. Food was delicious!

I spent a lot of time researching properties for our stay in Scottsdale. I thought the villa would be a nice option. We were very disappointed. The property is very dated, definitely not worth $450 per night. The furniture is old, the lamps did not work, there is one thermostat for the unit making the upper floor and lower floor about 20 degrees different. The beds were uncomfortable and the linens were not great. It was clean which was good, but we did not get our money's worth at all. There are so many options in Scottsdale, definitely pick a different choice. The front desk staff was horrible. I requested a late check out due to a late flight and was rudely told I would have to call the morning of departure. We I did call the same woman was curt, short and unhelpful. Someone needs to tell her that she is in the hospitality business.

Just don't stay here. We had jewelry stolen. In my 50 years of travel, we have never had this happen. The way they handled this complaint was terrible. They wrote an email to upper management but never told us to talk to security. Upon check out, Security asked us why we didn't call the police. Really? How would we know to do that ? We are on vacation and we shouldn't even have to think to do that at our hotel. The day the jewelry went missing (sentimental jewelry, we wouldn't bring diamonds on vacation) they did not make our beds all day, but took out our garbage so we knew that someone had been in our room that day..side note. why at a resort, would housekeeping not make our beds?? Perhaps to make it seem no-one entered our room. But I digress. It's Strange somebody would jeopardize their job for costume jewelry. When the word resort is connected to your hotel name, so many things come to mind including service, safety and amenities. The shuttle transport and drivers were excellent. There was one young man, Ryan who served every person on our stay, at breakfast, by the pool, literally just him. He was exemplary but totally overworked. There just wasn't enough staff. One server for the pool. Not enough lounge chairs. Check in was average. No explanation of amenities just given a map, fine but at least a brief overview. We had no idea there was another pool that was "quiet." Good location, terrible stay. Other than the food runner, service was awful.

The rooms are very dark, even with the lights they have. Are wood shades was not working well and the bathroom barn door would not stay closed. Heads up to the people who need an elevator to get to the second floor there is no elevator so if you can’t handle bringing your luggage up or down ask for a first floor unit.

The rudest staff I have ever encountered. Non-accommodating hotel. Room was like a Motel 6 at best. The pickleball courts were about the only thing worthwhile.
