The location was perfect, it was walking distance to the lake and to Main Street, which is the main strip where the majority of the stores are located. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel

Seemed to walk forever with no elevator in site. Building seemed to have twists and turns and when you’re my age you don’t want to walk up the stairs with all your luggage and that’s what we did. Carried it all upstairs because I got tired of looking for an elevator

The photos do not reflect the actual conditions of the hotel. The hotel is dated and needs update. We paid over $400 per night for this hotel which is ridiculous.

Walked in and front staff amazing! (All staff we interacted with were nice). Front lobby great… walk towards hall and it’s so worn! Carpets,walls,light fixtures all old and worn.. Elevator old and scary Room had two double beds ,comfy and clean! Ac loud. Wallpaper peeling, picture missing above bed , torn off wall .. bathroom clean but same old ,rusty sink,sink plug broken. It is a tired looking hotel nothing like pictures shown! But it was only 10 minute walk to beach . Would I stay there again probably not! Especially as this was first trip in a long time and was excited until we turned the corner! Like I said staff was amazing and can’t fault them .

This hotel is very old and dated. It is a confusing maze. Rooms were extremely disappointing and were not properly cleaned. Do not pay more then $100 a night as it is not worth more then that. The Denny’s had an electrical problem and closed for 2 days. They have plumbing issues as well. We stayed for 5 nights and that was pushing it. We will stay elsewhere next time.

Had to checkout immediately from another beach front motel that wasn’t as advertised and staff here were so helpful in finding us a room and it was clean…who knew that expecting clean rooms isn’t the norm in Penticton. Careful when pictures don’t match the rooms but not here at sandman! Great staff!!!

Barbeques need maintenance Spoke with a fellow who stayed last year and nothing’s been done to The barbeques in over a year burners. Do not work. Parts are missing on the barbecues
