Stayed in the pet friendly room, was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was. Great front desk service, very welcoming kind, and professional. Good parking. Grocery store is right beside the hotel, the location is great, close walking distance to lots of spots- in the heart of downtown. Had a great stay.

The various stairs to go anywhere are problematic for us with mobility issues (no mention was made of no elevator despite various floors), and despite it being around six months since my last visit, the entrance doors still do not open properly.

Have started at this hotel several times in the last but it has really gone down hill. The tv didn’t work and the room was so cold. Brought both issues to the attention of the front desk, but they weren’t interested. It took half the night to get the room to a comfortable temperature, with a really loud heater running constantly. Went without tv. They no longer give you a Ricky’s breakfast voucher, instead, their in-house breakfast consisted of shelf stable gas station food. Won’t stay here again.

PROS Good location, room was clean, quiet, bed was comfortable, WiFi was fast, the building was built in an interesting way using modules on a hill.Check in was fast and gentle. CONS Breakfast was terrible, the poorest I have ever taken in similar hotels. Food was cold, even when I went to the food hall about 7:45am and they close at 9am. There was no milk or cream in the corresponding jars and no staff around. Hash browns were that bad, that I ended throwing them away. If you have limited mobility, do not go to this hotel, there are tons of stairs with no elevator. Even the breakfast hall is in the basement. The lady at the check out took a long time with the person in front of me. She did not even tell me “I will be with you in a minute”. I noticed a bucket with used key cards on the counter, I just threw mine there and left.
