Room was spacious. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Gym was a bit small, but clean and enough machines to get an adequate workout. Location was extremely convenient.

The Villa Marquis was a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable with an excellent demeanor. The hotel was centrally located to iconic sights and great restaurants. The bar and restaurant were great for breakfast and evening drinks. We absolutely would book the Villa Marquis again and highly recommend.

It was a wonderful stay. The staff was extremely thoughtful and attentive and the room was lovely! The view of the Eiffel Tower from our suite balcony made it extra special!

Awesome except for one thing....

The hotel is wonderful, the staff friendly and helpful, location is great, housekeeping was excellent. Bed relatively large and very comfortable. Had a balcony, which was lovely. They sent us a delicious chocolate confection when we arrived. All good. Our only problem was that there is no bathroom door! It is just weird. And the room is small, with many lines of site to the toilet. I don't get it. Fortunately, the weather was perfect and we had the balcony to retreat to.... but it seems like they could put something up. I don't believe our cultures are that different.

Overall it's a nice hotel. The rooms are painfully small, even by European standards. There was barely space to open one suitcase. No closet. Even in an upgraded room. The staff was friendly. Location is very convenient to walk to all the sights. It's on a quiet street. Overall good experience but would not book again based on the price and value of the experience.

Excellent location. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Great sized room for Paris. Would have liked coffee,milks and water bottles replenished in the morning,but staff helpful when we requested later in evening. Room a little warm, not sure if air con off in building until summer? Overall would stay again for location, service and comfort.

Staff was super friendly and great. Good for one night but I wouldn’t stay for longer. Location was super good and great for walking to shopping destinations. But hotel is quite outdated and needs some major update with beds and towels. My bathroom had a water bug which I killed, but not a great state of the room. Towels were quite run down and at least they could’ve updated that. Room had lingering BO probably from bed or curtains bc it’s probably quite old.

The hotel didnt have the AC on because "it was cool season" and the nights were horrible with bad heat in the rooms. I opened the window, and then it was too noisy. I probably had the worst nights in a hotel in a long time. I woke up at 2 am because it was too hot in the room, and couldnt get back to sleep after this. On a positive note, the restaurant and its manager, Isabel, are super caring and attentive. Food and cafe are really good.
