Hotel itself was fine. Bedroom carpet and corridors could do with a good clean. But overall quite nice. The only big downside to this hotel is the noise outside ! Did not sleep a wink due to police sirens , shouting, cars beeping ALL night

Like the convenience of the location near the train station but then you have to put up with so much street noises, ie. traffic jam, ambulance sirens, people arguing on the sidewalk below on the sidewalks, frequent homeless people hanging around nearby

Staff were kind, skilled and very helpful. Room (cozy) was very clean but small as mentioned in description. Shower door was very narrow, not an issue for me but could be a problem for a larger person. Location very close to Gare du Nord is perfect with access to RER and Metro. However some people could find presence of homeless people close to the station an issue. I have stayed in this hotel many times and never had a problem.

Surprising quality given the location. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again if I need to be near the Gare du Nord. The staff is friendly yet professional; rooms are a bit on the small side, but super clean.

A good choice for overnight in Paris near Gare du Nord. Very clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Only negative was a continuous drip of water from the air conditioner which was annoying, but staff tried to ameliorate the issue when alerted, & will follow up today.

Great location

We like staying at this hotel, as it is very well located---close to Gare de l'Est for transportation and has many places around to eat. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful and will store luggage if you check in early, or need to check out late. Before, we've had a bigger room but this time we had a room described as "cosy" and for 2 people it was rather cramped. Also, our shower leaked and water spread all over the bathroom floor. But, we will stay here again, and hope for a bigger room!

I actually would have given this 5 stars. The beds were comfortable, the room was a good size BUT there were quite a few ants in the room and the shower was broken - the arm that held the shower head wasn’t really attached to the wall.

Bedbugs in the rooms!

I stayed in the hotel im March. Terrible hotel! Terrible service! A lot of bedbugs will bite you the first night. The receptionist will gaselight you that there are no bedbugs in your room. When I asked for the refund for this night and the following nights the manager promised to send money asap. There is a month since then and money back. They are just the cheaters!

I don’t know how this hotel got an excellent rating. The location was good and some of the staff was kind and helpful. The lobby stunk and they were in the middle of a remodel. In fact they changed our lock and didn’t tell us. When we couldn’t get into our room we had to go downstairs (6 floors) to get another key. The room was very cramped and the toilet broke. Staff did fix it for us. I would not recommend this hotel even though it is close to Gare du Nord.

Yah so it was a tiny room called "cozy" ... literally hard for 2 people to pass...but it was clean it was functional and right near the Nord Station and cheap for paris. None of the smallness is an issue because we knew that before bookkng its ideal for an overnight near the airport or train night before a flight. Room was surprisingly well organized for a small space pleanty of room to hanf stuff coats etc ... Front desk was very gracuous ...stored our bag securely as we arrived way early way before check in time
