The property was immaculate and the breakfast excellent. The location is good. We were in the basement and the hallways were dingy and not so clean. Our room was very quiet in a busy city and well looked after. We thought the staff was friendly but not as much as the reviews stated. Overall we would recommend the hotel. Good value.

Staff was fantastic. The breakfast is also great and substantial and was an added bonus. Room was spacious and clean, and comfortable. It’s a short walk to the Louvre and right next to many metro stops.

Loves the location of this hotel and our accommodations for a family of 4 with 2 adult kids. A rare find in Europe with 2 king beds. Everything was great here. We would definately stay again. The breakfast was fantastic, the fresh OJ and the coffees and pastries to start the day.

Parking and getting there with traffic is terrible, but since Socialists run the place this makes sense, breakfast is good, staff is eager and you are close to the Louvre. I am mostly a find the flaw kind of guy and the AC worked in peak Summer. So maybe increase your rating by +1 from mine especially if you do not go there in peak seasons. I’d go again.

We had a fabulous stay. The front desk staff was amazing. The best I’ve ever experienced. The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are spacious, which is rare for Paris We will definitely return!

L'Empire

We were put in a room on tge lower level near laundry. The hallway was dark until you stepped out into it. We were two ladies and felt unsafe. Also had two order a cab 2 days ahead. Luckily we had a uber app.room was clean and had a great breakfast buffet.

Excellent location! We are a family of 3 and the hotel provided a pull out that was very comfortable - our room was quite spacious, especially for Paris! Very clean and the hotel staff were extremely accommodating - provided recommendations and also offered to pack a breakfast for us to take with us to the airport! Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

The location is absolutely perfect especially for all key museums and historic sites. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Even mailed our postcards. Breakfast was convenient and nice. The small shops and restaurants around this hotel were fun, quaint and fun places to people watch. Would go back again!!
