I only liked the proximity to the train station but the cleanliness standards and comfort level is poor. We killed 4 bugs in one night. Shower was not clean and long hair strands appear all over…none of which was ours. Ewww.

Perfect if you want a hotel 3 minute walk from Gare Du Nord. Great for late/early connections. Otherwise I’d stay somewhere else. Positives - great value, clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff, air con, good sound proofing from the street. Perfect for Gare du Nord. Carrefour 2 minutes walk. Negatives - Not a lot in the area in the evening and no bar at the hotel (as expected - Ibis budget). Not a safe area - lots of people hanging about and we were warned about pick pockets - so got Ubers back to the hotel rather than walk at night. Felt very uncomfortable in the area at night. No safe in room but there is one in reception. No kettle in room. Room was tiny but adequate. French tv channels only apart from news.

It is what it says on the tin...

The hotel is described as functional, and it is what it says on the tin. We were there on an overnight stop before getting the Eurostar to the UK, it served our purpose well. It is not a luxury hotel, it is functional and it was convenient to the Eurostar.

Beds really comfortable, perfect sofa bed for our young daughter. Bathroom lovely and modern and clean. Everything you need in the room, could do with a kettle. Really friendly and helpful receptionist and staff in restaurant for breakfast. Really convenient for Gare Du Nord.

I can’t fault the hotel. It was clean and convenient being right in the centre of Paris and close by Gare du Nord. The facilities were what was expected. Could have done with a room safe. We booked room only so can’t comment on the food however there are cafes, bistros and restaurants all around. The area felt safe and is a bustling vibrant area. We found this very convenient having traveled on the Eurostar.
