We were not informed that the property was under construction when we booked it. The stairs were constantly blocked by painters and the paint fumes were strong even in our room. The air conditioning in our room was broken and instead we had a fan which did nothing for the extreme heat. The elevator is TINY and can fit maximum 3 people squished like sardines. But the painters didn’t want to let us pass them on the stairs so it was a constant battle. For one day, the elevator broke down and people were carrying their luggage up and down all the stairs themselves. We were on the 5th floor, so running up and down wasn’t easy…especially for the two people over 70 we were traveling with. The front desk staff was very nice and great at giving us directions and recommendations, but they never acknowledged the construction or the broken elevator. On one occasion, we asked the front desk if the painters were still blocking the stairs because we had occasions where we got three flights up and the painters refused to let us pass and we had to come all the way back down (we had more people in our group than could fit in the elevator, so some of us always had to take the stairs), and the front staff seemed completely unaware of the painters. Super disappointing.

The location is quite nice, close to everything and very convenient. However, it's an older hotel and some things aren't perfect. For example the elevator is very small and can barely fit 3 people without bags. But the staff is nice and helpful and overall it's a decent place. I would stay there again.

The hotel was very close to several restaurants, shopping and the train station. The hotel is currently going through major renovations and so the hotel was in great disorder. From heavy painting odors in the hallways, air conditioning did not work the entire time we were there. I chose this place because of its reviews and I would never stay at this hotel again. Don’t let the reviews make you think this is a nice hotel because it’s not!

The property is located in a good shopping district..perfect if you are in Paris to shop.Rooms are good size but very basic & old. However the Hotel itself is tired looking, customer service is very poor. House Keeping not the best.. If anyone is to stay here, request for rooms on 1st or 2nd floor..Elevators dont work well and alot of stairs climbing.. If you have luggage, this will ne a nightmare.. I rate this hotel 6/10.. Would i stay here again? - Yes, if in paris for strictly shopping, but No if i plan to visit Paris to relax & be pampered a bit with good customer service & amenities.

The AC was not working, even though they offered to change the room next day, the bathroom is in very poor condition, the toilet was not flush properly, they did try to fix it, the room was very small, hardly any room to walk,, will not recommend this hotel, the location is nice. Good location. Lady that checked us in was amazing. Rest of staff average and were unable to fulfill what should be a simple request of extra pillows as the ones in room were inadequate. Wifi also had next to no connectivity so not suitable for business travel at all. Perhaps this is due to the ongoing renovation which was not disclosed when we booked.

This hotel was very very clean. The bed was very comfortable, the AC worked great and internet service was good. Small room but plenty for 2 people. Their breakfast options were spectacular it was the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. A nice balance of fruit, delicious meats and cheeses and condiments. The pastries and croissants and rolls were superb . The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the wrong connection to charge our phones and the hotel had an adapter that fit that we borrowed during our stay. They went out of their way to accommodate us in every way. Good location closes to the RER and metro stations. Nice stores in the area and some restaurants. The Opera house was about a 5 minute walk. I highly recommend this hotel.

hotel location is great, but think they see me as single traveller, and put me in a corner room which is very tiny, and i hate that the shower is stucked, water wun go down and flooded.
