1 minutes walk to lots of cares/restaraunts nice busy area just around the corner ,but very quiet peacefull side street the hotel is on.nice clean rooms ,freindly helpfull staff.15 minute stroll to notre dame cathederal.breakfast wasn't very good but that's not a problem as you only need to walk 1 minute around the corner and you are spoilt for choice for nice breakfasts.i would definitely recomend this hotel and would stay here again and the complimentary bottle of red wine was a nice touch whent down well😋

Great part of Paris

Really friendly stay in a lovely part of Paris. The room was excellent and had lots of space for 2 adults and our little girl. The staff were so friendly!

Let me start out by saying my fiance and I loved the hotel itself. The decor was wonderful, very warm, rustic with wood accents. The staff was polite and helpful, the breakfast buffet was amazingly fresh, bed was comfy and showers spacious. Everything was super clean. One massive negative note. All this is located in a sketchy neighborhood. Let me explain. It’s in a predominantly Turkish, Arabic neighborhood where the people there openly ogled my soon to be wife like they wanted to either buy her or rape her. Don’t leave your lady unattended here! The hotel area has several “adult entertainment” businesses nearby and we walked by several sex shops with big displays of dildos in the window. Not cool if you have kids walking with you, you will be doing lots of explaining. It’s close to Marianplatz so that was nice. We enjoyed our stay but would probably not return bc of the neighborhood.

On the plus side, it is in a good location within walking distance to attractions. It’s also quiet, a really important point in this busy area. On the minus side, the single room is too small for a 3-star hotel. Not even room for a chair. Tall bathtub needs grab bars. Furnishings a bit worn.

We recently spent a few nights at Hotel Castex in Paris and couldn’t have been happier. The room looked exactly like the photos, clean and cozy. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. It’s just steps from the metro and a short ride to Gare de Lyon. We would gladly stay here again.

Lovely Paris stay!

The location was fantastic! Such a lovely area! The front desk folks are pleasant but not friendly if that makes sense. The bathroom was a little moldy but nothing intolerable. The room is tiny-but really how much space do you need when in Paris :) the location alone is worth all the inconveniences!

We found the hotel quaint and charming and the location was within walking distance of many attractions and famous sites. The Thai restaurant across the street was excellent for dinner. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful and allowed us to store our luggage on site while we toured the city on our last day. Everything was clean and comfortable and the complimentary bottle of wine was a nice surprise. We would recommend this hotel to our family and friends without hesitation. The breakfast included with our room was more than sufficient and everything was fresh and well supplied.

An extremely convenient hotel just a few minutes walk from the Seine and the Place de Bastille. We felt it was ideally situated for access to the key places to visit in Paris. Our room was small, but perfectly serviceable with a good bathroom and very comfortable bed. We would certainly return.
