Our room was normally sized for Paris. The staff was exceptionally friendly, even going outside of the hotel to point out a sweet little restaurant for us. They called a calb for us back to the airport as well. The shower was superb. The hotel also was very conveniently located to everything -- shopping, dining, cultural sites and the metro. We definitely would.stay there again.

Very disappointed in this property. Particularly how it was rated. This is a no frills discount hotel at best. The only positive is it’s in a great location.

Buyer Beware!

The photos on the Hotels.com website do not reflect this property accurately. The carpet was in dire need of replacing and the room needed updates. Pocket door to the bathroom gave a lack of privacy. The location is excellent. Only stay here if you get a low price. Absolutely not worth $450. I felt taken advantage of.

My stay at Hotel Caron Le Marais was excellent, the room was clean and well equipped, and is large enough and comfortable for two people. The personnel was attentive and helpful. The location is excellent, in a quiet street one block from a major subway line, near a charming square, and walking distance from major sites like Place de Vosges, Bastille, the Seine, Nôtre Dame, and Ille St. Louis.

I was looking for a hotel near the Marais for a single night. The Hotel Caron fit the bill perfectly. The room was small but enough for one person for a single night. The only thing I didn't particularly like was the green shag carpeting in the room, but it's clearly a part of the design so maybe just my personal taste. The continental breakfast was adequate, although located in the lower level "cave". A little dreary but this is nitpicking. I would definitely stay there again.
