Excellent Hotel at Universal Studios Japan

Great hotel for Universal Studios Japan visit and Osaka Expo, right next to train station. Right on City Walk. Very Friendly and attentive staff, breakfast was included in our stay and we at there every morning. Top of universal for dinner one night, an upscale buffet, great selection of items for both breakfast and dinner. Rooms were very comfortable. Prices were reasonable. Would stay here again.

Great location for families and USJ

Two day stay family of 5- our room was a perfect accommodation for our needs with two bunk beds and a twin. We appreciated the toilet room separate from sink and shower space. We purchased USJ tickets from the concierge and were unable to load them onto the app for timed entry. This was inconvenient because we ended up wasting some time upon entering the park to see how we might add the paper tickets to our app. However, the tickets were cheaper by about 1500JPY. Breakfast and dinner buffets were very pricey so we skipped those but enjoyed food from Universal City walk which is right outside the door of the lobby. Great location for USJ.

Excellent hotel for convenience and room size, and the staff were very helpful - especially with getting to the Osaka Expo. As an executive for a Japanese / U.S. company whose HQ is in Tokyo, this was a wonderful escape.

I loved the proximity to universal and it was Nice being right on city walk as it had a great atmosphere and a variety of restaurants to choose from. The bunk room was great and we even had a partial view of the park. Lots Of amenities in the room and comfy beds. The onsen on site was handy but I think they should give guests one free pass to it. I didn’t like the lobby setup or check in. It was very impersonal and the whole building is a bit dull. Would stay again though due to room comfort and location.

Positive: Very close to USJ, convenience stores, and the train station. Convenience of an ice machine and microwave oven available down the hall on every floor, large refrigerator with freezer, and shoes dryer for a rainy days. Three single beds for three adults. Negative: The thoroughness of the daily room cleaning varied significantly depending on the person who cleaned the room. Be aware that you are required to remove your shoes at the entrance of your room. Room slippers are provided.
