They were doing major construction to the hotel when we were there. It would have been nice to know before we booked. The smell of epoxy was so toxic one morning that I had trouble breathing and got a headache. Other than that, it's a cute hotel centrally located to alot.

Good location and value

This hotel is good value for the location. The hotel is older but has been renovated and has some services such as laundry, microwaves and kettles. The rooms are small but that’s pretty normal for Japan. The hotel offered some unique services such as a free drink machine in the lobby and free beer, highballs and ice cream in the afternoon and evenings. They also offer Japanese experiences some evenings and had a takoyaki lesson for all hotel guests on the night we stayed.

Central to shopping areas. Close to transit. Friendly staff. They provide plenty of clean towels and bottled water. My daughter loved the free ice cream and instant noodles. Highly recommend!

The lobby is the highlight of this hotel. The free drinks, food and use of massage chairs was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are compact, but I guess not unusual for this area. Very walkable to the metro and shopping is only a few minutes away. Very clean and staff was very helpful. Highly recommend!

I think this was the smallest room i've ever staye

The location is absolutely amazing and close to everything people go to Osaka for. but literally this room was the smallest room i've ever stayed in, like dangerously small if you're a normal sized american and slightly clumsy, which I am. even if it was for 1 person it would have been ridiculous. But the good news is they have beer and ice cream in the lobby

A short walk to the famed Dotonbori street. The hotel is currently remodeling the rooms; nice but not as luxurious as some other hotels. The complimentary drinks, ice cream, and ramen (during specific hours) are a nice added touch. The breakfast (additional charge) is better than the other hotels that we’ve stayed at in Japan so would recommend adding that since a lot of restaurants aren’t open before 10 am (kobinis aside).

Ideal location, Hotel is OK, just a little dated

Hotel was perfectly fine if a little dated. The location is awesome, easy walking distance to local sights, dining options and public transport. The only negative is the bathroom which is all plastic and I felt like I was in a caravan!
