We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at TownePlace! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and updated. The pool area was very nice, and we also enjoyed the little arcade and restaurant inside. Free breakfast was a nice added feature with a decent amount of options. They do offer Disney and universal park shuttles, but the times were very sporadic, so I wish there was a more convenient schedule for that, but overall very pleased with our visit and would stay here again!

We had to re-check in for our extended stay. Our schedule for the day had us leaving the hotel early and we couldn’t check in then. Thankfully the towel guy was able to let us back in our room when we returned and we could re-check in.

Nice hotel but crappy communication

Check in was easy, breakfast was good, and the room was clean. The last night of our stay we arrive back at our hotel room at 10:45 to a note that said the water would be shut off from 11:30-5:00 am for repairs. Immediately went inside and told my child to take a shower, lo and behold water was already shut off. Woke up at 5:00 because we had to be at our event at 6:30. When we left at 5:50 we still had no water. We couldn’t even brush our teeth before leaving the hotel. Called and left multiple messages regarding this issue after the fact and have not received one call back.

What I liked first - the view was nice and the room was quiet. The small kitchen was a plus but the scratched nonstick pans were a drawback. The bad side - there was a leak. It caused the hotel to turn off its water for 2 days. I asked for help to get one of the grills started. It took 2 hours of me asking for a maintenance guy to show up with a lighter to get the flames going. My mom being in her late 70s had to wait to eat and take her meds that night. I was also approached on my very first morning there while in line for breakfast by a guy providing a ticket for a complimentary gift at the lobby. I never had a Chance to stop by on my own is it point me out to a Lady who that stop me in My family on my way back to our room that morning after breakfast. She initiated a conversation about going to another hotel to talk about a timeshare or something. The lady there mistook my mother for my wife among other things and just came across as a complete idiot and completely turned me off to the situation as it seemed more like she was desperate to get me to sign on to something where I knew she didn't explain the requirements well. When she realized I was there without my wife, she lowered her offer from 150 to $75 back if I attended. She was severely off-putting and it took time out of my very first morning of my vacation. I forgot to relay this situation as well as the afternoon dinner at the grill experience would appreciate additional refund in return for those moments.

Everything was outstanding! Except for 1 day where the water was shut down, but they had left us a message on the door, but the second time was really inconvenient and pretty upsetting cause they were no notice and my family and I had to go shower somewhere else luckily we had family about an hour away.
